Belize Development Feasibility Studies
A feasibility study to determine priorities in archaeological site development to further tourism, covering twelve sites of the Mayan pre-classic and classic periods. A complete financial analysis of the chosen site was prepared. Guidelines for general tourism development were also presented.

Petén Integrated Development Plan. Phase 1
The program identified and priorized areas in the Petén in which a combination of archaelogical restoration and facilities to cater to tourists were designed. A general tourism development plan was also designed, with a financial scheme that might make the proposal sustainable.

Petén Integrated Development Plan. Phase 2
Several studies were prepared during the execution of this phase, to promote some of the proposed projects. This included the creation of a development fund nourished through tourism– generated resources. The feasibility of this was presented to INGUAT and the Guatemalan Government.

Sustainable Development Program for Petén
A full component on cultural heritage and tourism was designed, with pre-feasibility studies to restore sites and create services to tourism in seven different sites around Yaxhá and in the Petexbatún area .

Trinational Program for the Sustainable Development of the Upper Lempa River Watershed
An in-depth analysis of tourism activity in the area revealed that a possibility of ecotourism development might be feasible. Funds designed to perform final feasibility of some of these possible projects were suggested, as well as actions in training and operator marketing activities.
