Urban
Study for Housing Settlement Possibility in Guatemala City
The study was based on an IRS-1C-PAN monochromatic image of high resolution
and a risk analysis based on known geology of the area. This risk analysis
included fault appraisal for seismic risk, as well as slope and mother rock
conditions for soil stability for housing development and landslide risk
analysis.
