APESA is a privately owned Guatemala-based international technical assistance and general consulting firm which was established in 1982.

APESA�s track record for a large number of contracted projects and the high quality of its associate consultants assures highly professional services. This includes a proven capability in feasibility studies, project design and management, both in the private as well as the public sectors.

APESA´s activities in the private sector have included prefeasibility and final feasibility studies, as well as management contracts in the industrial, mining and tourism sectors.

APESA´s activities in the public sector include regional studies, from integrated regional plans to more localized and specific land use studies in smaller geographic areas.

APESA has strived to maintain an up to date technical level in regards to land use studies and has been the pioneer in acquiring a capability in remote sensing and Geographic Information Systems as a basic tool for regional and territorial analysis, in the Central American and Caribbean Area.
